The Annual Putnam/Northern Westchester St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which is also known to many as the Mahopac St. Patrick’s Day Parade, is scheduled for Sunday, March 14th, 2010 at 2:00pm, rain or shine.
The St. Patrick’s Day Parade takes place on Route 6 in Mahopac, New York between the Mahopac Firehouse (Croton Falls Road and Route 6) and the K-Mart Shopping Center. It is the third largest parade in New York State. So pack up the family and join us for a day of fun and good times. Remember, the parade goes on rain or shine. Mahopac Columbus Day Parade & Street Festival

The 7th Annual Columbus Day Parade sponsored by The Italian American Club of Mahopac takes place on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at 2:30pm, rain or shine.
Before or after the parade, head over to the Mahopac Chamber Community Park (corner of Route 6 and Route 6N) for the Street Festival sponsored by the Mahopac-Carmel Chamber of Commerce, which provides a wonderful community-oriented day for kids and adults alike. The Street Festival is open from 11am to 5pm, rain or shine.
The food court will be filled with local caterers, restaurants and chamber members selling a wide variety of food (especially the saugage and peppers made by the Italian American Club). The afternoon offers many activities, most of them free or at a nonimal charge. These include a climbing wall, crafts, and inflatable rides for the children. There is also a special children’s tent featuring games and face painting. In the gazebo, local musicians will perform throughout the day.
The Italian American Club of Mahopac, which sponsors the Putnam County Columbus Day Parade and festivities, is proud to annouce this years Grand Marshal and Honorary Grand Marshal’s:

If you have a float, antique cars, a band, etc., they would be happy to place you in the lineup.
How about attending the Pre-Columbus Day Dinner Dance?The dinner dance is the biggest fundraising event of the season for the Italian-American Club of Mahopac. Scheduled for September 13, 2009 at 2:30pm at the Villa Barone Hilltop Manor on Route 6 in Mahopac. The gala will feature fine dining, wonderful entertainment and warm and friendly people who are truly happy to see you. You don’t have to be Italian to attend, everyone is welcome. The dinner dance is a great way to meet new people and make new friends.
